Being a member of Kiln Creek’s summer swim team is a great way for your child to make new friends, stay active, and experience a team sport. Unfortunately, the summer swim season is short, and a year passes before swimmers return to the water. If your child would like to continue swimming after the summer season is over, please read further for information about some of the Peninsula’s year-round programs.
Brittingham-Midtown Aquatics Center
Also known as "Midtown," "The MAC," or "BMAC," has instructional swim sessions March through June.
Coast Guard Blue Dolphins (CGBD)
The Coast Guard Blue Dolphins have been producing championship swimmers and championship people since 1965. CGBD uses a proven training progression to accomplish this. This progression is implemented by coaches who have competed collegiately and nationally. Your swimmer will learn proper technique and race strategies while creating life-long friendships based on shared goals and values.
Cruisers' Club
Cruisers’ Club refines swimming techniques, builds endurance, and introduces swimmers to competitive swimming training. As a pre-competitive swimming program, each session starts with stroke and conditioning evaluations to determine if the swimmers are in the appropriate Cruisers’ group.
Midtown Mystiques Synchronized Swimming
An amazing sport with a combination of gymnastics, dancing, and swimming all in one fun activity! If your child loves dance, music, and the water-we're the sport for you.
Southeastern Virginia Aquatics (SEVA)
Thank you for your interest in inquiring about SEVA programs. We continue to build on our competitive tradition as one of the finest swimming programs in Virginia. SEVA is starting its eleventh year after a successful 2009 – 2010 season. SEVA is owned and operated by Head Coach Dave Henderson, who has 30 years of coaching experience.
